New second home! Plain Digital Wrapper
If you don’t know already, I have a second mortage! heh. I now design for Plain Digital Wrapper….I feel as if I am going through a “cleaning house” phase. I’ve been developing my style…still not sure where I fit, but we will see! My SmugMug page still is being developed, but there are lots of photos there to view and hopefully admire! With summer officially here, I have been having lots of fun with “street photography”….random people doing random things…..heh.

Snow yet again…..it’s a record!
Officially, it has never snowed on April 23rd here in Penticton. Gotta love global warming! Cleaned up my garden, got excited about a “bird oasis” I want to create, muck out the pond and WHAM! Snow. Grrrrrrrr.
Oh well.
I’m still sick and tired of being sick and tired. So I’m called in sick for tonight, and now I’m sitting at my computer, looking out at the blizzard and hoping no baby birds have been born yet…

It is 93 degrees F. in LA today and -3 in Penticton….guess where I want to be? On Wednesday, as I was checking out all the birds come home to nest, I saw bathing suits (with people in them) on the beach! Now, as I stare in disbelief at my garden, the hyacinths are vainly blooming through 2 inches of snow, and all the tulip and narcissus plants are hiding .
Did I mention where I want to be??? Speaking of, my trip was fabulous except for the horrible flu that I was unwittingly incubating burst forth in all its glory on my 4th day. I spent the majority of the rest of my trip in bed….I made myself get up every day for a while though to go out with Tara in her air conditioned PT Cruiser and see some sights. We went to the March Air Museum, the Griffith Park Observatory and Park (with a real, old fashioned carousel!) , Hollywood, the Arboretum. The San Diego Zoo was Fabulous, as was Seaworld. I have put pictures up on my SmugMug site…
Gone to LA…
Well, this is my 2nd vacation in my life…I’m nervous and excited and oh yes! Did I mention excited? I didn’t ??? Heh. I am THRILLED to death! I’m flying to LA on my own. Meeting my best bud Tara and doing the town. Well. Not the TOWN per se….We’re not that into “shopping on Rodeo Drive” or anything..We might take pics of the street signs though! We will be dining with Shamu, and doing the San Diego Zoo.
Did I mention I’m excited??
It’s 1:30 AM, I have to get up in 5 hours to leave for the airport, and here I am, on the computer blogging! Did I mention….Oh yes. I’m excited!
Normally not a demonstrative type, I have this premonition I will scream when I see Tara! We have been “camming” for a year, but never met in person! I have become a huggy sort, working in Mental Health, and very much looking forward to hugging the woman I first thought was my long lost twin, or sister, or husband/wife in another life! I also think we will not stop talking for one moment! And I get to meet Cheyenne, Josh, Matt, Kiki, Sandy, Tippi, Simba, Midnite, Harley, Flower and Thumper….6 cats and 2 rats. hee. OH! and Lesley, Ruth, Kerry, Ro, Tara’s mom and Poppa. Wow.
Did I mention I’m excited! ?
I will not be online now for 2 weeks, and I will certainly post when I get back. Think of all the photos I will have to process!!!! I can’t wait….

Long time no blog!
Been an odd 2 months….lots of photos, lots of illness at work and at home…not much designing! However, after 10 days of holidays and 2 weeks coming up of holidays in LA, I think my engine is revving better!
I also revamped PeekaBoo for my next kit, “Heart and Soul” and finished a challenge palette with a
juggling Boxy! Have a look!

The upshot is that I will be putting all my photos there for viewing, rather than uploading them to WordPress…just part of my organization resolution…
